What We Offer at Controlux

Controlux Limited offers customers more than 25 years of experience in the window coverings, blinds, shutters and awnings business. As a result, we are able to ensure that our professional team can provide a reliable service to all of our customers that live throughout Esher and London, helping them to achieve the look they’re after for their property. We offer a wide range of blinds – including velux blinds, roller blinds, conservatory blinds and many more. Here’s just a brief description of two of our blinds that we supply and install to our customers in Esher:

Velux Blinds:

As we are trade partners with Velux, we can offer our customers in Esher any advice on velux blinds, as well as the supply and installation service. Velux blinds are designed for Velux windows, and are very versatile. Available in an array of colours, designs and textures they are sure to match your specific design needs and can act as a feature in any room. As well as different styles, velux blinds can be operated either manually, remote controlled, or even by an app off your phone! So you can choose any option that best suits your needs.

Roller Blinds:

In short, roller blinds are a single piece of fabric which is wrapped around a casing, and then fitted at the top of your window frame. It can then be operated by a pull cord which is attached to either the bottom of the roller blind or the blind casing. One of the biggest advantages of installing roller blinds has to be how low maintenance they are. Unlike traditionally curtain window dressings that can build up dust and have to be washed frequently, roller blinds are pretty much maintenance free. Simply wipe them down with a wet cloth to remove dirt and dust once a week, and you’re good to go!

Here at Controlux

We supply moisture-resistant style roller blinds for bathrooms and blackout varieties for bedrooms, and also a made-to-measure service. This allows you to install roller blinds throughout your home in Esher, even in the trickiest of window shapes and sizes.

Our other services

As well as our range of blinds, we also supply awnings and conservatory blinds. Our awnings look great in Esher and really fit in with the surroundings. Offering both protection from the rain and the sun, awnings are a pleasant addition to the vast majority of properties, whether they’re residential or commercial.

Conservatory blinds are also popular with our customers in Esher, especially for controlling temperature. Conservatories are known for being too hot in the Summer and too cold in the Winter, and that’s where conservatory blinds come in. They act as insulation throughout the colder months, and block out the heat and light during the summer. Here at Controlux, we believe your conservatory should be a relaxing and comfortable space, so speak to one of our team today about installing conservatory blinds.

Window Shutters

Through our sister company Supreme Shutters, we manufacture and install window shutters, creating a smart, long-lasting design feature in homes across Esher. From the most popular full-height plantation shutters, to tier on tier window shutters that let in more natural light, there is a wide range of types and colours to choose from. Our collection also includes bi-fold, cafe, and tracked designs. Following a consultation to discuss your ideas and help you pick the right plantation shutters, we will arrange a survey to measure up and ensure a perfect fit. Once installed, your new custom-made shutters will provide privacy and style for many years to come.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We recently purchased an Awning from Ben and Lucy at Controlux and the experience from start to finish was excellent. The quality of the workmanship was first class and support and service to make this happen faultless. Ben and Alex fitted the unit efficiently and did a very neat job and explained all about the operation of the Awning before tidying up and leaving. I would thoroughly recommend this company due to the dedication and professionalism of the team.
