Bespoke Light Control for Contemporary Living by Controlux
Bi-fold doors have transformed the way we live; seamlessly connecting interiors with gardens and flooding spaces with natural light. But with these expansive glass panels comes the need for intelligent window treatments that balance aesthetics, privacy, temperature control, and usability.
At Controlux, we specialise in custom blinds for bi-folds in Leatherhead, offering tailored solutions that enhance your space without compromising functionality. With over 35 years of experience in window dressing and shading systems across Surrey and the Home Counties, we understand that bi-fold doors demand more than just off-the-shelf solutions; they require design precision and technical expertise
Bi-folds are not like traditional windows. Their unique structure, movement, and scale mean that most conventional blinds either:
Obstruct door operation
Offer poor light and privacy control
Sag, twist or catch in the door tracks
Or require constant adjustment throughout the day
The right solution must be engineered to fit the function and flow of bi-folds while blending seamlessly into your interior design. At Controlux, we provide bespoke blinds that do just that.
From modern extensions in Fetcham to period homes near Bookham Common, Leatherhead’s architectural diversity means that a one-size-fits-all approach simply doesn’t work.
Our made-to-measure blinds for bi-fold doors are specifically designed to suit the unique demands of Leatherhead properties, whether you’re working with listed building restrictions, south-facing garden rooms, or energy-efficient new builds. We take into account:
