What Are Awnings?

Awnings are versatile covers installed over windows, patios, or outdoor seating areas. They provide shade and shelter, protecting you from the sun and rain, while adding a stylish and personal touch to your property. They can be stationary or retractable, allowing for flexibility in use depending on the weather. Awnings are also popular for their ability to improve comfort and energy efficiency by keeping out the harsh British weather. No matter whether it’s raining or whether the sun is too bright, your awning will keep the party going in your garden with protection against the elements.

Benefits of Awnings & Pergolas

Protection from weather and outdoor elements: your awning will keep you covered during rain, hail and extreme sun so that you’ll never have to cancel outdoor plans based on the weather. Your outdoor furniture will also benefit from protection against the glare of the sun.
Light control: you’ll be able to control the levels of light inside the awning to create a relaxed atmosphere.
Added lighting and heating: for extra comfort, you can add your own heating and lighting functions to your awning.
High quality fabric: the resilience of the high quality materials we use will ensure that your awning stands the test of time.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We recently purchased an Awning from Ben and Lucy at Controlux and the experience from start to finish was excellent. The quality of the workmanship was first class and support and service to make this happen faultless. Ben and Alex fitted the unit efficiently and did a very neat job and explained all about the operation of the Awning before tidying up and leaving. I would thoroughly recommend this company due to the dedication and professionalism of the team.
